Their first teeth!
Their very first teeth 🦷
The first teeth make their appearance on average from 6 months in babies. Sometimes they sometimes arrive earlier or even later. We do not panic if this is the case, each baby is unique and develops at their own pace ✨
How do a child's teeth grow?
The dentition is done gradually. From the 6 months of your baby, the first teeth will appear.
First, the 8 incisors are manifested. They are used to cut your child's food.
In a second step, the 4 canines and 4 premolars arrive, which will allow your toddler to more easily grind these meals.
Finally, the molars take place at the bottom of the mouth. These last 4 teeth are installed in your child, offering them a nice teeth.
What are the symptoms of a dental thrust?
Very often, our toddlers start to salivate, to nibble, they have red cheeks and above all, they are irritable and cry very often.
It also happens that they sleep and eat less than usual.
How to relieve your baby?
Here are some tips for relieving teeth pain:
-
Gently massage its gums. During the dental thrust, the gums tend to swell and become sensitive. Wash your hands well and gently massage your child's gums.
-
Give him something to chew. Take a clean toilet glove and humidify it with cool water. This is a great economy way to calm the pain.
-
Take time with him. Take your full attention. No more moments both allow him not to focus on this unpleasant feeling.
-
Opt for a rattle! This very practical little accessory will relieve your baby's teeth. Vary the textures to help the child in its sensory development.

-
Give them a bath! At the end of the day, there is nothing more comforting than a good hot bath for our little ones. Apply our Body and hair washing gel and give way to a light foam and a soft smell of white musk and orange blossom on your baby✨
When do the first teeth fall?
There are several factors that play on the loss of teeth. The first losses are made around 6-7 years and they concern the lower central incisors (the first teeth which appeared in your child).
The upper and side central incisors, canines and molars fall from their 8 years to their 13 years approximately.
Same information as for dental thrust, there is no specific age for the fall of the teeth. Each child has their own rhythm and the teeth will fall when the time comes.
