The origin of Maison Né: a birth

Maison Né is above all a story, an intuition... Can you tell us how it all began?

We designed Maison-né as a place we would have liked to have had as new mothers when we had our children! A place where we can meet other parents who are experiencing the same whirlwind that is motherhood but also be supported by a team specialized in perinatal care.

What was your first inspiration? A triggering moment?

A December 31st!

How did you imagine this place? What needs did you want to meet? 

Like a place where you feel at home, with our joys but also our doubts. It was important that it be a welcoming, warm, and caring space where each woman could find answers and care adapted to her and her baby. The objective was to provide comprehensive, holistic support, combining alternative medicine and expertise. And above all, to answer the many questions that we may ask ourselves during this period of motherhood. 

The art of living pregnancy according to Maison Né

Motherhood is a time of profound transformation. What is your view on pregnancy and the postpartum period?

Pregnancy and postpartum are such an upheaval, a tsunami, that the woman must be supported from beginning to end. There are childbirth preparation classes, lots of appointments, it's very well attended, but there are no classes to learn how to be a parent! But the first months are so important for babies. The expression "it takes a village to raise a child" is so true. You have to know how to surround yourself with the right people.

How do you support expectant and young mothers through Maison Né?

In the best possible way: the one that suits the future and young mother, whether it be haptonomy, sophrology, naturopathy, well-being treatments, sports classes... through the 3 pillars: health, awakening/sport, well-being!

What is the Maison Né imprint? What makes you feel immediately at home there?

The Maison-né team by: The welcome, the listening, the availability of each of the professionals who work there and the soft tones of the place which soothe!

What encounters have left a lasting impression on you since opening? Any memorable anecdotes to share?

It's impossible to choose! Everyone I've met since the beginning of this adventure has been incredible. But there's definitely been a lot of laughter and sharing.

What's next? The next chapter of Maison Né...

Today, you are about to open a new location... What guided you towards this new stage ?

The desire to be able to support as many families as possible because some come from far away and when you become a parent, you want to have everything close by to make everyday life easier. 

How do you imagine this new Maison Né?

Like the first: a warm place but offering even more comprehensive support with medical professions such as midwives and physiotherapists.

What dream do you still want to accomplish through this project?

To become the benchmark in terms of support and guidance for parenting
